Can You Feel the Love?

Valentine’s Day is Wednesday, February 14.

If you’ve ever thought about starting a nonprofit, you have questions.

  • Where do I start?
  • What’s the first step?
  • How much will it cost?
  • Am I smart enough?
  • What’s the difference between a for-profit business and a nonprofit organization?

When I was preparing to launch Idle Tuesdays Recording Studio, I had the same questions. And I did what you have probably been doing too: spending hours watching YouTube videos and typing anything and everything you can think of into Google’s search field.

I ran across a number of old blogs with everything from missing information to outdated details.

How can starting a nonprofit be more complicated than starting a business? Shouldn’t doing good be easy?

It’s been six years since I launched my own nonprofit, four years since I earned my master’s degree in Nonprofit Management, three years since I published my first book on how to start a nonprofit, and nearly one year since I published my first state-specific book on how to start a nonprofit.

Needless to say, I’ve learned a thing or two because I’ve seen a thing or two.

For those of you looking to take your do-gooding to the next level, I want to be the person I wish I had when I was first starting out. The real-life person you can call, or Skype, to ask any and all questions about nonprofits. If you have questions about starting a nonprofit and just need some extra guidance, take advantage of this Valentine’s Day offer.
