Ditch the negativity

Admit it. You’ve unleashed more negative thoughts in 2020 than ever before.

Maybe those negative thoughts were towards your closest friends and family. Maybe some driver pissed you off because they were driving too slow, too fast, too erratic, too…whatever.

Maybe the news you watch and the social media accounts you follow got you hook, line, and sinker to gorge yourself on the idea that those “other” people are wrong, horrible, vile, and evil…even though you hung out, traveled, went to church, played golf, and had fun with “them” just fine back in 2019.

The Bible has something to say about our thoughts. And Quantum Physics validates it.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, which, well, in 2020 I suppose most of us were living under the proverbial rock. Alas. I digress. In case you don’t already know, the negative thoughts that bounce around inside your noggin, often unconsciously, come at a price.

Quantum physicists have proven that negative thoughts are destructive to our cells. How? Well, that’s another story. But it’s been proven that thinking negatively about him, about her, about that, about it, is no bueno.

For the next 7 days, I challenge you to filter your thoughts. When a negative thought pops up, quickly ditch it and remember this saying:

Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Like the Quantum physicists, I too guarantee you’ll be better off spending your time thinking about good stuff.
